Photographic Fine Art Prints

Work for an exhibition starts well in advance of hanging the work. First of all, is actually making the work. In this case studio shots of flowers in various states of demise. Then selecting and correcting them in Photoshop before getting round to the printing process. When that's all done there's the task of preparing the frames and mounting the prints before even getting to hanging the work.

Poor Man's Rose

Three of the limited edition fine art prints from the exhibition.

These fine art prints set out to challenge conventional notions of perfection by celebrating the unique character of each flower. The exhibition invites viewers to embrace the imperfections in their own lives, finding beauty in the natural and the authentic.

The use of lighting can bring out the beauty of imperfect flora even in black & white images.
